METRO TO PROVIDE $1 ROUND-TRIP SERVICE TO KIDS, CULTURE, CRITTERS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL ON JULY 21
CINCINNATI –Metro is partnering with Learning Through Art, Inc. to provide reduced fare on the Route 1 for the Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival at the Cincinnati Zoo. On Wednesday, July 21, all rides on the Route 1 will be 50 cents each way from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. There will also be entertainment on several of the trips from an acoustic guitarist and a mime from the Amazing Portable Circus.
In partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo, Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival provides general admission to the Zoo for just $1 from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m., and features entertainment throughout the day with world music and artists, as well as face and henna painting, strolling entertainment, and a Mardi Gras parade. The popular Books Alive! For Kids® celebrity storytellers will feature books read by Victoria Morgan, Cincinnati Ballet; Bob Herzog, Local 12, WKRC-TV and a surprise celebrity guest.
The first 2,000 groups at the Zoo will receive a free Kroger Snap Cam to encourage participation in the Kroger Cincinnati Snaps Photo competition.
