TOM HODGES JOINS SORTA BOARD OF TRUSTEES
CINCINNATI –Attorney J. Thomas Hodges was named to the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority’s board of trustees on March 16. He was also named to the board of the Everybody Rides Metro foundation and to SORTA’s strategic planning committee.
At 30-years-old, Hodges is one of the youngest members to ever serve on the board. The Over-the-Rhine resident was nominated by Cincinnati's City Council and was confirmed for the appointment by the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners.
“We are excited to welcome Tom to SORTA’s board of trustees. He brings a unique YP perspective, and we feel he has a great deal to contribute,” said Melody Sawyer Richardson, SORTA board chair.
Licensed in Ohio and Kentucky, Hodges’ legal practice focuses on serving individuals on civil litigation and criminal defense matters.
Hodges holds a bachelors degree from Georgetown College, a masters of public administration from the University of Kentucky, and a law degree from the University of Cincinnati. While at the University of Kentucky, Hodges’ concentrated on public finance with an emphasis on non-profit and government organizations.
